She has a great shop with handmade crayons that any child would love! I asked her a few questions and here is what she had to say.
What made you want to open a shop on Etsy? The love of crafting. I have been creating something as long as I can remember.
What is your favorite thing in your store and why?
My favorite thing is the Rainbow Ring Crayon. Probably because that is the one my little bear loves the most. Some days I can't seem to get it away from him.
What keeps you going when things get slow?My little bear definitely keeps me going. I am constantly making new crayons for him to try out. It is so much fun seeing his reaction to new crayons.
What advice would you give someone who is thinking of opening a shop on Etsy?
Patience! Don't get discouraged when you don't get a sale within the first week or even the first few months. Keep working hard at your shop (and it takes A LOT of hard work.) Eventually you will get that first sale and it will take off from there.
Give me two of your favorite stores on etsy.Wow. That is such a hard question. There are so many shops that is my favorite. I just found out we are expecting a little girl so tutu shops have been my favorite but it is impossible to narrow it down any more than that.
